The staff is friendly and the beds and rooms are clean. I went in the other day while the computers were down and was unable to tan, but the person up front gave me a free upgrade for my next tan which made me feel like an appreciated customer!

Super friendly staff! I'm used to employees at other tanning salons (not PBT) being rude and stuck up. I feel so comfortable coming here! The employees are really knowledgable about the products and I never felt like they were trying to make me purchase extra things I don't need.

Generally I really like and appreciate the staff but last week on a thursday the salon was closed with no notice on the door. It's the only day I can tan so 1/4 of my month I wasn't able to tan.

I seem to have an unsatisfactory experience anytime I encounter Josh... one instance where he forgot to set the tan bed (no biggie, I just call the salon phone) but after calling like 9x in a row (hearing the phone ringing) & having to redress to go in search of him taking my 12min tan to an hour ordeal to going to a different location and the level 3bed that I pay $60/mo for "out of order" so stand up (my feet were killing me from a long day at work) or lay in a level2 downgrade bed, or pay for a level4.. it's not my fault the bed I pay for is out of order.. why not offer up a comp upgrade for My inconvenience for superior customer service? I cringe every time I see him behind the desk, but never try to complain. Everyone else is sweet that I have encountered.

Everytime I’m in an associate knows my name, my preferences, and when I’m getting low on a bottle (sooo never bugs me for products I don’t need at the moment). I just love PBT.

I’ve been going to the PBT by my work for almost 2 months now and I love it! Service is always prompt, the rooms are always clean, and I always have a great experience. I also just started using the new VersaSpa Pro machines and I LOVE them!

I came in to sign up for a membership to the highest level tanning bed. The associate helping was very nice and answered all my questions, but left a few important details out that I didn’t see until I got my contract and tried to up-sell me on lotions. She told me I could freeze my account whenever and never have to pay the registration fee again, but failed to mention the monthly freeze charge. Also I had called ahead of time and asked the price of lotions and the associate said $45-150. When I asked to see lotions she showed me two $150 lotions and when I told her that was a little out of my desired price point she showed me ones that were $100 (before the membership discount). When I asked if there were any lower priced lotions she said not really, which was pretty frustrating considering I knew there were much less expensive lotions out there. I ended up buying a lotion that I didn’t even want because it was so uncomfortable discussing this with her. Overall an okay experience with a nice sales associate who needs to be a little more honest- it makes the brand look trashy to hide things and lie.

The manager at my location is the best - her name is Roxie. She is always right there when you need her, and she can handle big crowds even towards closing hours without attitude. I can't say the same about other tanning locations I've been to (LA TAN). Roxie always keeps me up to day on specials and when my membership allows for free upgrades which is great. I never want to buy lotion direct because I have a family member in the business that I get lotion from me in New York, but I would definitely buy it from Roxie if I didn't have that hook-up. Roxie is a great manager and no one has shown any better initiative than her since I've been going there - she deserves a raise seriously. Clean beds, hardly any ever wait time. and I will continue to be a customer for as long as I live in the Lakeview neighborhood.

The staff at the Chicago Clark location is amazing! The DM Rachel and one of the store associates or manager Roxy were super helpful and accommodating me with a payment issue. Because of their stellar customer service and understanding I will continue to tan at Palm Beach. That kind of customer service is what makes customers feel valued and makes a huge difference, in my opinion!

I say it again and again. The level of service at the Clyborn location in Chicago is the best I've ever seen. A colleague asked me a month ago what was a company I felt had stellar customer service, and I said Palm Beach Tan of Chicago. I had minor issues when I was a member in Atlanta, but Chicago Palm Beach Tan has made me a lifer. Thanks to the management team headed by Erin, I'm so beyond satisfied. Thank you.

Always superior service. Always clean...I mean CLEAN!! Bathrooms always clean. This location has always maintained this level of service and cleanliness. I have always purchased my lotions from Palm Beach Tan. Wish they were less expensive.

Lots of high pressure sales on lotions. Felt like there was "wheeling and dealing". I went home and could have bought the same products at half the price online. This makes me distrust your company. On the positive side, I felt that I was not being upsold on the actual tanning service.

I absolutely couldn't be happier with my experience everytime I visit a Palm Beach Tan location. Recently, I moved from Lakeview to the Gold Coast so the Clyborn location in Chicago is my new spot. Erin makes my day everytime I go into that location. She's also responsible for the ease of my transfer membership from Atlanta a year ago. Customer service is above and beyond what we learned about in those college hospitality classes. Erin and her whole team make you feel good inside and out. I'm thankful.

The past couple of times I have been there there has been at least a 15 minute wait. There is usually only one person there, checking people in while also having to clean the beds. I almost wanted to help her out by cleaning some of them for her. Definitely need more staffing at this location (Clark Street Chicago). The beds are still in need of repair and updates. Some of them have cracks in them others have lights out.

I was a Palm Beach Tan member in Arizona for 2 years. The tanning itself was the only positive experience I had ever had, given that the staff was unfriendly, incompetent and blamed the customers on their mistakes. I cancelled my membership when I moved from Arizona, and had not planned to ever go back. Now being in Chicago, I decided to give the brand another shot. I instantly fell in love with the staff, experience and products. You have a great team working at the Clark St. location, as they are the reason I reinstated my membership.

Everything is great besides the cleanliness of the beds. Depending on the bed I'm in I can still see sweat marks from other people's body parts. The beds are not in the best conditions either. Most of the staff are amazing and they are the reason I come back!

although I love coming to Tan here. I think that the Beds could be cleaned a little better, there are always smudges or sweat marks on the beds I am in. Also they are in need of some major repairs, some have buttons falling off others dont have handles. Also, some of the staff could care less if you are there or not, but then there are some of those who are AMAZING and really try and get to know you and what your "Tan Goal" is. I also think it is a little weird that I am given a "reward" for being a Member for so long and then when I use it i realize it has expired because they are only available for a month. Not only that, but no one ever told me the expired even when I tried to use them and mentioned I would wait until next month when I am tanning more. Kind of disappointing. That being said I want to express that there are fabulous staff members and it is because of them that I return.

Staff is always super nice. The beds however need some help. Some of the start buttons are falling out of the wall. Some beds have bulbs burnt out. Otherwise I always have a great experience.
