I was satisfied with everything except one small setback I feel worth mentioning... I signed up for my first month of tanning and upon the visit the associate said how I'd have to wait a minimum of 24 hours before returning. She distinctly said "so for instance if you want to come tomorrow you'll have to wait til 12:30". I DID plan to return the following day (yestetday) so I filed that time away in my head. I didn't check the clock, because I took her at her word that this was the time I could come back in, if the time I tanned for on my first visit hadnt done anything. The next day i purposely waited til it was 12:30pm to leave my house and head in. Its a 20 minute drive for me, so it isnt like a few block trip or anything. When I arrived at the salon at a few minutes to 1pm I was then informed that no, I could not tan until 1:46. I reminded the same associate that she'd just said the previous day that I could tan at 12:30pm. She obviously recalled this, and while she clearly felt bad, it didn't really help. She said "oh right, shoot, I'm sorry, I'd just meant that time as an example"... Which makes no sense to me. Why give an example of the time I can return, and not the actual time? Or at least adding that "that is just an example time" or preface the statement with "now if it was 12:30 now, then you couldn't come in until 12:30 tomorrow". But she didnt, she said 12:30. So I'd now either wasted a 45 minute round trip, or would have to sit there for almost an hour. Unfortunately I did not have that much time to spare as I had plans for an hour later. I explained all this but she had to inform me she could not override the system. So 45 minute round trip wasted, it was. I am a pretty laid back customer and I HATE complaining. The associate who helped me was very kind and seemed very knowledgeable, and as I said she seemed to at least feel a little bad. If it were me I would've felt really incredibly bad but perhaps that's because as a working Mom without a ton of financial wiggle-room, time is really valuable to me. I don't give this feedback to be unkind or because I'm angry, I just figured that maybe someone else could be saved the same trouble in the future. I've definitely learned my lesson to check what time it is myself, regardless if I'm told that I can return at so and so time. Thank you!

I have had a good experience with pbt. I would recommended them to my friends and family, I wish the joining fee was less expensive though.

My preference is to not be high pressure sold on tanning lotions every single time I come in to tan. The other issue I have, is that the money you held each much as I froze my account... basically can't be used towards anything. I've been told twice I can't apply it to an upgrade purchase because it's a "special". Money is money. It's my money, that I allowed to accumulate each month and now you regulate how I spend it?

Bought my spray tan package yesterday. I had never spray tanned before. Heard a commercial today on huge savings that was not offered to me. My friends asked me if I was told about the coupons or offers for one free month... nope, I wasn't. Feel kind of weird about the whole thing. Also wasn't told to wash my hands and feet... very orange. I'll be sure To talk to friends before trying something this new to me again. The girl was nice... I just feel like she could make a forever customer out of me instead of making the most money from my initial experience. I'm hoping I heard the commercial wrong, I'll be listening for it.

Most of the customer service clerks are sweet and knowledgeable one is especially friendly-I wish I knew her name. She has platinum blonde hair. . The product is just too expensive! I spray tan and feel nickel and dimed about color choices. It would be 5 stats if the prices were more reasonable!

Everyone is friendly and welcoming when I go into tan. The only questionable experience I've had is when the gal set up my room and I asked twice by the time she put on the bed it is what I wanted but come to find out she set it for a longer time.

Overall the salons are decent. Lots of variety and availability. The down sides I see are the spray tan solutions for versa not always being the same darkness and running out constanly. I think it's also ridiculous that as a diamond member I have to pay for a dark solution for the mystic booth, the medium is so light it's really not even worth getting one. Another thing i'd like to bring to your attention is how tanning beds aren't always cleaned properly. Laying on someone else's sweat is just absolutely disgusting. I would suggest just leaving a spray bottle and rag in each room so customers can clean the beds as thoroughly as they like. It's quite embarrassing on both parts asking for a bed to be recleaned, which I've had to do on multiple occasions. Lastly, the girls are quite pushy when it comes to selling products. I buy something when I need it without them trying to constanly persuade me into it.

I'm new to Palm Beach Tan and I have visited 3 of your salons. The one on Mill Plain in Vancouver, the one in Milwaukee and the one on Broadway. I must say, the one on Broadway is by far your best. The staff there is professional, personable and friendly. The other two salons are run by young girls who have so much to learn. I try to go to the Broadway salon whenever possible. They do a great job!

The girls are always friendly when I go in to the salon. The beds are clean and ready for use. My only complaint is that they can't always help me with taking my bracelets off and putting them back on because their nails are too long! Other than that, my experience has always been a good one.

The salons do not give you enough time to get your tanning lotion on it deducts time from your session, I don't feel like that is fair...so half of the time I do not even put on my lotion because I want to be able to have my full 12 minutes in the bed..so I pay for lotion to have a bronze tan and don't get the benefit of using it

Love the options for different levels of tanning. Very nice beds. My only complaint is using the same towel to clean multiple beds. Each bed should be cleaned with a clean towel. Wiping up someone's sweat on one bed and then smearing all over another bed with the same towel is disgusting. Overall my experience has been good. Been a tanner before Palm Beach took over.

It has been pretty crazy with the move and all but everyone stayed very nice and didn't show how stressful the situation was at the time. Now that things are a bit more settled the experience is a lot more enjoyable. I had been a member of tan 205 for 3 yrs. Was leery in the beginning due to past experience with tanning salons being snobs. I have been welcomed and have been treated very well. I also got an upgrade which was a bonus!!lol I am very pleased with palm Beach tan. Thank you so much.

A little sad my favorite location has relocated. Lately the 3 closest salons near me have all been running out of their spray tan solutions. That's very frustrating, I have to call each one before I leave now. I also am a little upset 2 of the 3 don't have Versa anymore. I wish there was more darker spray solutions that didn't cost extra. I have the highest level of membership I should have to pay for dark solution. Also would like an organic spray solution for verso or mystic. Other than that girls are nice and salon is clean.

Very friendly staff who are enjoyable to talk to and very helpful. However a better explanation of the charges including taxes would be helpful. Especially explaining the additional fees charged at start up. I was charged am additional 20 fee for no contract service however i was informed afterwards i was on a contract where i would be charged monthly with my visa debit card and would have to call by the 25th to cancel or put the account on hold. That is certainly a complete ntract so what was i charged the additional $20 for?

Many of the locations on the east side to not have the beauty angel, none of them around me, so I have to drive 30+ min to get to one one the westside, which seems to have one at all locations

Do you not like the location of your new Millplain salon, parking is an issue. I've been a loyal customer for 15+ years the reason I tan at your Millplain location is because of the easy access, I feel like the new location definitely does not have as easy access. Not sure if I will continue with my membership or not.

Love the girls and service I receive at my mill plain store wouldn't go anywhere else, however I'm a little dissatisfied with palm beach tans packages. I recently found out since I pay only $19.00 a month that there are no benefits with that package and I keep getting upgrade emails from you and when I try to do the upgrade it still doesn't get me anywhere that's a little deceiving, recently I got an email recently stating I owed $32.50 because it was billing the wrong card, got that waived but it's the point I'm going on 2 years as a member and don't get many benefits for it. If I could get to the next level upgrade that would be nice

Wonderful customer service! The gal that helped me at the Mill Plain location on 2/13/16 around 3pm and signed me up for a new package and lotions was amazing, friendly, and helpful! I tan at the Bridgeport Village location in Tigard, OR. The owners recently brought in a management team to "clean up" and a few of my favorite people are now gone. I truly hope that this change is transparent and I continue to get the same amazing service. So far, the new people are pushy and very car salesman like trying to upsell me on everything. I understand that you need to make money, but I need to feel like I'm worth more than a cheesy sales line.
