There’s a new manager at the Dallas Palm Beach Tan on Mockingbird Ave/Greenville. She’s been a breath of fresh air! She’s friendly and knowledgeable and I get a very down to earth vibe from her. Recently she got me a very good deal on some new lotion, and it just increases my feelings that she cares about her job and about making sure her customers have a good experience. This girl, McKenzie, has checked me in twice over the last couple of weeks and is not friendly at all. She acted cerybiutboutvwhwn I came in at 7:40 on a night theynclisedcat 8:00 because she’d already mopped the floor. She was very rude. I do Versa and am in and out of the salon in 6 minutes. So there was no worry that I’d still be tanning at closing time. Had her again last night (Saturday) and she wasn’t mopping (however it was only 5:20 pm) butvshe still wasn’t friendly. I don’t need a high five or hug when I go tan but a simple “Hello” and “Thank you” would be nice. I’ve been a member of or tanning with PBT for over 25 years so I’ve definitely experienced all kinds of people and I don’t expect a lot because they come and go but again, a kind greeting goes a long way. It’s frustrating for customers to feel guilty about showing up close to closing time because if the salon is open until 8 or 9 or 10, then customers should be able to arrive before that time and not be treated poorly. Again, I do Versa and sometimes Mystic which are both quick. I would not arrive at 7:55 when the salon closes at 8 and expect to do a 20 minute tan. This situation has bothered me for awhile and since you sent me the survey, I’m giving you an honest answer. I tanned tonight and the girl was very pleasant- I do not know her name. It was at the Skillman PBT and I was there about 7:20 pm. Thank you!

Justin (Manager) started off by explaining the equipment tanning bed levels and now spray tanning is a bundle when wanting to obtain the glow I asked for. With this new mystic machine he showed me 2 bronzers to mix to get my perfect shade - - - he compared it to hair coloring which just made sense! He DID get me on spending over $350+ in products that day but so be it! I am so happy and will continue to go to Greenville avenue to see Justin!

We have been going to PBT in cedar hill since the business opened and the beds all remain the same. I much prefer the beds on Greenville Ave. in Dallas or other locations. We actually try to drive to other locations for updated beds.Also, the turnover in Cedar hill location is extremely high for staffing.

Just want to recognize Logan, he always seems to be the person checking me in. Logan true and genuine example of what good customer service is. I am blind, my interactions in public are generally awkward but Logan always greets me by name and goes out of his way to make my experience a good one. Beds are always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is I had to go out of state for business for 3 months. I immediately called to freeze my membership as there are no PBT locations within 3 hours of where I was staying. Was told I could not freeze my membership over the phone. I was gone for 3 months and was stuck paying even though I did not have access to a PBT location. Wasted over $180 and could not get a credit or adjustment. Suggestion: allow customers to freeze their membership over the phone.

I have tanned other places before and the staff are usually a little narcissistic, pushy & rude BUT not this place. PBT on Greenville has a very friendly, down to earth and inviting staff! Kudos to this PBT for employing such great people that create such a welcoming atmosphere.

The PBT store I've been going to has really declined. The attendants are super nice however the facilities are no longer in good shape. Not clean, dirty floors, the speakers on the music systems NEVER work, stations don't work - maybe 1-2 choices IF any, the air vents on the tanning beds are broken and don't adjust, the overhead speakers in the entire store is often off, the A/C in the store wasn't working properly last night, the bed I was given wasn't cleaned properly - felt grimey.... I honestly questioned whether I will go back at all. I've been a member for a number of years and I'm seriously thinking that this location is now a health hazard and no longer comfortable.

I have an EXTREMELY common name and checking in is a hassle due to it. I miss the finger scanner as a way to pull up our information. I definitely understand the reason for getting rid of it in order to increase customer service, but it can be frustrating to those with such common names and really slows down the process of checking in!Could our pin numbers be set up to pull up our accounts?Overall, I love your salons. I had been out for about 2 years though, because there just isn't one very convenient for me and I find myself paying for a membership and not utilizing it. I reactivated this weekend and am excited to be tanning!

Most of the time it's easy to walk in and tan! Sometimes employees aren't the friendliest. And it gets old when they try to sale you every lotion possible! You can ask if we are good with our products or if we need more but don't pressure people to buy. Doesn't happen all the time but it does happen! Other than that I like that I can walk in and not have to wait on the bed I want! The place is always clean.

The service is good and friendly. The beds are always clean and overall everything is good. My only criticism would be that the manager was over the top pushy when trying to sell your products. I get it, you want to promote your products but it got to a point where he questioned my intelligence and I was almost ready to walk out and go somewhere else, but you are close to my house so I actually just bought some of the product so he would quit basically arguing with me. Otherwise all is good!!!

I think my experience is OK! There are a couple of he girls that are nice, but there have been staff changes so I don't see them as much. I think the blonde guy is the manager and he could use a friendlier personality. Maybe I expect to much customer service!?! I saw a new girl the other day had the laminate sheet of tanning packages to a potential new member. I don't even work here and wanted to go and help the potential member. This should be a place where workers are friendly and say hello right away and say have a great night as people leave. I feel more appropriated buying a soda a Quick Trip!

Matt at the las Colinas, TX location is awesome!!! I never buy lotion because it's so expensive, needless to say his knowledge about each product, honesty, and sales skills sold me!!! He also showed me how to work the level 5 beds for basic tan or bronzing! Nobody else has ever done that and I've used Palm Beach numerous times. He makes me enjoy walking in to tan!

Store location is convenient with hours, location and bed availability. The towels are usually in good shape and beds are sanitary. The staff is generally friendly. While it is an older location with the age showing on the outside of the building, the staff does a good job of keeping it up. I would urge a periodic detailed cleaning around the beds from time to time. I would also suggest the vegetation out front could use some trimming as the recent wet weeks has it growing rapidly.

Staff is always nice but it always seams to be something with the spray tan rooms. That is with all locations though, not just this one. Prepare to get in machine and it is not working, out of fluid, needs reset. Out of barrier cream or pump doesn't work. Out of wet wipes or battery on paper towel dispenser is dead for a week or so. Only request is that Palm Beach as a whole needs to be more on top of things when it comes to the items we use in the rooms. Thank you.

My experience has improved over the past year, since the employees are no longer being overly aggressive about selling products. However, when I was told I had a 20% discount on products, I indicated I wanted to buy a candle. They told me I couldn't use the discount on a candle 'because they are so popular'. What good is a discount if you can't buy what you want? Isn't a sale for 80% better than no sale at all? I was disappointed, because I am a big fan of your candles.

I usually go to the Greenville location. I've noticed that the employees park in the very limited number of spaces in front of the store. This is very bothersome as a customer when I have to park in the back of the store. Now that the blond girl has moved to another location it feels like the store has gotten a more positive vibe.

Don't like the hard sell on lotions. Then they tell you an outrageous price and push it down your throat. $185.00 is a bit much for lotion, if you don't buy it just because they want you to, they make you feel like a pauper. No one in their right mind would pay the prices you put on your lotions, when I say no, I shouldn't have to explain myself.
