The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly, and the environment is welcoming. My last couple visits I was told I have a $10 off and another discount towards products. I only spray tan and it would be nice to have discounts or $10 off my monthly payment every once in a while, not just products.

Been a member for more then 6 years now off and on. Love the staff and the spray tans are amazing. The staff at the Palm Springs by 24 hr fitness are my favorite in Vancouver Washington. Always super nice and welcoming.

The gal that was working at 10:30am on 3/23/19 helped me check in and was super knowledgeable and friendly. She was busy but made sure I knew she’d be right with me and handled multiple customers with a great attitude and gave everyone an equal amount of attention!

I just think you have some very nice girls working at PBT in Vancouver Wa. off of 191st. I’ve been going for a few years now. Last night I went in to spray tan at 830pm- knowing it closed at 9pm. As I was checking in, a client who was using the Versa booth reported it wasn’t “working “. I believe there was a young girl in training and there was another girl checking me in- I didn’t get her name. They just handled the situation so calmly and professionally. They moved he Versa client to the Mystic booth to work on the Versa. During this time 3 other clients came in behind me- all wanting to spray tan- the girls showed no
Stress or disappointment in the situation. They believed the Versa was up. and running - this is like 840pm. I went ahead and went in the. Versa and it was fine. They had another gal go in the Mystic and when I was leaving at 855pm they had the Mystic full, put someone in The Versa and still had 3 clients waiting to spray tan. I think they need to be complemented on the very fine job they did making sure everyone was able to spray tan and keeping everyone informed of the situation. This is the kind of customer service I wish I could run into more often!

I dread the almost daily conversation of “how are you doing on lotion” it seems even if I say I just bought one or I’m doing fine, the person behind the counter still tries to sell me something. It’s great they are being attentive but most of the time it makes it just feel like every interaction I have with your staff is a sales pitch.

Often , in the evening, when we go in the attendant is in the back for quite a long time. I finally walked back to find her doing her hair and makeup in the restroom.
Super Bowl Sunday we found them watching the game in the back instead of taking care of the front desk. Not an issue if we didn't have to wait for them to come out to check us in.

I went to palm beach tan in Hazel Dell last night before I left for Hawaii and got a spray tan and the girl working was amazing, she told me how to do everything and really simplified it. She recommended a prouduct that I FREAKING LOVE !!! I wasn’t going to check a bag so I didn’t plan on bringing it but after I tried it this morning I had to. Disappointed that about every time I go in one of my favorite beds has a bulb or 2 out.
I appreciate one of the girls letting me know ahead of time so I could choose a different bed but some don't do that. I realize there is a reflection but I just don't feel like there should be burnt out bulbs in the beds with the prices we pay.

store is not as clean as it used to be. Staff is not as friendly anymore. They seem to be a little more caught up with each other these days. There was a time when the staff knew their clients and it was a fun experience coming in. I have been coming in for well over a year and have seen the slow change. This summer has not been a great experience.

I would have given 5 stars but I didn't because every time there is a deal through palm beach the employees never mention it. I have gone several times where I only got to use the deals at the end before they expired. Example they are having a 3 month special on upgrade and I didn't know about it until a month before it expires which I don't think is great customer service. Thankfully a new employee let me know about it so i could take advantage of it before going on my vacation. Besides that I enjoy getting my tans so I can keep my color and not burn on my vacations.

I had an issue in the past where I cancelled my account due to my location relocating and my account wasn't actually cancelled until I noticed about 6 months, customer service fixed the situation but it still left me a little uneasy about Palm Beach Tan. After that I had tried a spray tan at a different chain and walked out with goops (I know thats not actually a word but thats the only way I know how to describe it) of brown dripping down my neck and legs, needless to say I was never going back there again, so I wandered back in to Palm Beach at your 192nd location and talked to Erica about my whole experience and she handled it so well and was extremely patient with me and explained that it was an isolated incident and told me what steps to take if I ever needed to cancel again. Made me feel good about signing up again at a place that I had an issue with previously, so 5 stars all the way :)

I have been a client for a very long time and I spend a lot of money monthly to be a member. The staff is always very nice and helpful. Where you lack in my opinion is maintenance of the beds. It seems that when a lamp or bulb goes out in a bed it's stays out for quite some time, which is irritating considering I pay over $100 a month to be a member. In my opinion the maintenance of a bed should be handled quickly and I've been told by your associates that you have one person who handles all of your stores and that's why it takes so long to get a bed serviced when this occurs. Love going in, but prices are so high and I see little result for what I pay each month. In addition I have to consistently buy product to even be able to subbed tan, and you would think if you paid 75$ a month you'd get a free product every other month or something, 10-20-30% off is not worth it, I buy my products through a friend for cheaper.

The staff was nice and helpful! Suns up tanning salon has a better deal for the mystic tan and their machine is better ! I would highly recommend looking in to their machine . Versa sucks compared to what they have ! Planning on switching soon!

Someone somehow accidentally used my tan dollars on my acct. I went to use them one day and the girl told me I did not have any and I had used it on ___ (said the name of a product) I told her I had never bought that and the other girl that was there looked at it chimed in and said ohh no this is the acct that we accidentally charged this under for someone else. Although the manager let me know that she would get some tan dollars put back on there it was alarming to be asked how much tan dollars I had (I have no clue - I had never kept track in the past and just always trusted that what was taken out of my bank account each month would be there when I returned to the salon) and alarming to hear that someone so easily was able to use the tan dollars on my acct. (My name is not terribly common) On top of that to feel like a situation happened with my account and no one cared to notify me of the situation or proactively fix it before I came in to try to use my tan dollars. A manager was supposed to call to explain what happened but I never received a call. I don't know that I feel comfortable freezing my account if it means needing to keep a close track on everything in the event someone uses money from my account and might opt out for simply cancelling it instead when I take my breaks from tanning rather than freezing it.

I do not like getting into a bed with lamps that do not work, same with bulbs. What can you do to fix that problem? Just means to me that these bulbs and lamps are not being replaced as soon as they should be. In other words we are not getting the UVrays that we are paying for..does that make sense?

I came from a small privately owned tanning salon. The prices were cheaper but so was my tan and the tanning beds. I still love my old salon but you get what you pay for both there and here at Palm Beach Tan! I get so many compliments on my tan now that I'm tanning here and I love the customer service I receive. Usually good service, sometimes the gals are too chatty and silly for my taste. The sound/radio system does not work in all rooms or locations. The Palms location in Vancouver WA had a light burned out in one room for over 2 weeks. How hard is it to change a light bulb?? Plus sound system does not work in gold beds at this same location.

I really like all the girls and the place is spotless BUT I have been in retail myself in various ways for years so believe me when I say I really do understand marketing ( it was my job) but I am tired of trying to be sold something EVERY time I walk in the door. No matter how nice they are or how it is worded, "it" (the sales pitch) has gotten old. I want it to stop, I REALLY want it to stop. It is to the point where I am considering going somewhere else for this reason alone. So what you do with this information is up to you. Friendly, outgoing girls who know my name is one thing but when they think they need to know if I am almost out of lotion or that I NEED to know you have a sale on product every time I walk through the door It may be time to change the door I walk through. Also I tan (in a bed) not just for a tan but to battle depression (seasonal disorder) and for vitamin D so why do your girls try to talk me into a spray tan? Repeatedly. (could it be there commission they are worried about & not a happy customer?)I do not even know how many times I have felt like I needed to explain myself to them. So I just maybe gone soon. Sorry, you are in a great location for me and the place & beds are fantastic but I really do not come in to be sold a thing. If I need lotion or goggles or moisturizer or if I want to upgrade to different bed I WILL LET YOU KNOW. Thank!

Enjoy going down for a tan, the girls there at the Hazel Dell store in Vancouver are always upbeat always welcome the guest when walking thru the door. My only complaint is there needs to be a system in place so if a member wants to put their membership on hold they shouldn't have to wait till the end of the month before dues hit the bank. An example I went in today the 5th to place my membership on hold it should take effect the 1st of the following month since the current month we are in is already paid for not ending the same day the request is in

Over all a good experience. Your staff is always smiling and willing to answer questions. I don't care to feel pressured into buying a ton of products. A few, not all, are higher pressure than the rest and always pulling the most expensive first. They must make commission on sales.
