Was my first time in here and I’m new to the area. I had a great experience and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was very clean and it’s one of the best tans I’ve had in a while! Definitely coming back!

I have been a Premium member of Palm Beach tanning for the past two years. Ever since Ashley took over as the manager of the Aliso Viejo facility, I could not be happier of the customer service provided! Ashley is professional, courteous and friendly and has changed the whole dynamics for the betterment of this facility.

I love the Tustin location everyone there is super attentive and helpful plus they always smile which is something people in customer service normally lack these days but they never do! I’m new to the tanning scene and they definitely took me step by step through your the process so far and I couldn’t be more happy with my new glow !!!

Girls are always VERY friendly. I go to jamboree and orange locations. Never a wait for bed tanning but sometimes 20-30 min wait for spray but honestly that’s not even a big deal. Can’t spray everyone at once. The only thing I would say is sometimes it seems like the girls are not fully trained if they are trying to resolve someone’s issue or even answer questions. I think a lead or manager should be there in case something comes up. But overall I always have a great experience. :)

The check-in process is slow if a new customer is there signing up. Had to wait 10 minutes to check in, which should have only taken 30 seconds. Since they have 2 registers, maybe they should be able to multi-task?Also, the rooms need a bigger mirror in order to see where the tan lines are in relation to underwear. The tiny mirror at head height is useless.

Your associates need to be better trained regarding the lotions you sell. I was sold a silicone based lotion when I specifically stated I needed a non-silicone lotion and that was done by a "manager." Luckily they were able to help me out a few days later and get me the lotion I needed. However, it was evident that a lot of the employees are clueless about what they are selling and are only interested in commissions :(

Typically there is a long wait to use the spray tanning bed. Typically a 45 minute wait. Sometimes longer! Wish your salons would install more mystic tanning machines. I froze my membership because of the long wait times.

My tans are great! And I will probably stay a customer. But, whenever I get any credits on my account for having a diamond charter membership, like 10.00 here and there. I a.m always told I can’t use it for anything related to music tan, which is what I do. I was told, no credit towards sticky feet, toners etc. I can only use it for lotions, which I have spent hundreds on already and have a ton of. How come you can’t use your little tiny credit towards what you want? It really did turn me off, considering how much I spend there. Also, the 10.00 credit email did not have any fine print about not using it for mystic products. Please let me know why this is?

Just a tip of the hat to the busy Saturday Team at my PBT in Tustin, CA. There was a line-up of members all desiring similar beds last Saturday around lunchtime. (I ACTUALLY KNOW BETTER than to come at that hectic time!) But, your team remained calm and friendly... welcoming each who were joined the busy throng in the crowded waiting room and even allowing guests to leave in order to run a quick local errand .... offering to phone them when their bed was going to be available within about 45 minutes to an hour! Their patience and smiles never dimmed and they handled it all very well. (must admit that your clientele were also mostly quite gracious, which helps a lot!)

I love this location of Palm Beach Tan! The staff are so personable, friendly and give great advice. They are trustworthy and honest. I am so happy with my services as a Diamond Level Member!! Everything is clean and the beds are top notch quality. They offer great products but are not forceful in the way they sell. I truly believe that they have integrity, intent to service their customers, the capabilities to run a smooth and enjoyable tanning experiences and the results of using both the bed and spray tan have been better than I could have imagined!

I purchased my 'membership' at the Newport Ave location in Tustin which WAS very conveniently located to my home, just prior to that location closing! Whoops! Yesterday I had a free half hour and was driving near the Jamboree Rd. salon and decided to take advantage of the membership that I had been paying for all last year and not using! I guess this WAS my lucky day...PBT staff member Kim was there and so helpful and delightful to work with. She asked the right questions, figured out exactly what sort of support I needed and made my return experience both easy and non-intimidating! Taking the time to find out exactly what the client needs and making that happen for them, is a talent that she embraces! Also, staffer Marisa's charming presence added to my overall comfort level! They even took the time to orient me to the company website and make personal notes for me in how to utilize it to my best advantage, while encouraging me to come back and see them at the salon once again very soon...and bring a friend! I salute and thank these lovely and charming gals who are making tanners of ALL AGES feel welcomed at pbt!! Well done!

1/23 I went to tan and got into the room the Associate assigned me, as I was in there for just a few minutes she came and knocked on the door and had asked if she could come in and reset the bed so she gave me a robe and came into reset the bed. After applying all of my lotion and jumped into the bed I realized that it was still at zero on minutes. I opened back up the door to let her know and she said I’m sorry the bed is not excepting your minutes this evening and I have no more dummy accounts to use so I am going to give you a $20 gift card and 2 diamond level sessions.I have never experienced this before as to my disappointment after applying all of my lotion I realized she is probably new. Therefore every experience I have had has been good in general and this one time was very disappointing. Things happen but thought I would mention it so maybe you can provide a better resolution for the future if this happens again.

Great place. Everyone helpful and friendly but they spend too much time trying to push products .. not only is this irritating on a daily basis but many times I’ve had to wait more then 10 minutes to tan when they are trying to push product on the person before me. I even walked out once

I have used your tanning salon when I have special events. I like the spray Tan best. However since I use it rarely I’m amazed at the difference in prices at two salons. I like the tanning that shows up gradually Mystic. Im glad you brought back the spray that we can purchase and use at home. I purchased a can but it’s too dark. I was told I could not return it. There used to be several Colors that we could try. I guess after buying the one that replaced the Mystic a few months ago and it was sticky and costly and also non returnable I’m just done buying any of your products. It’s a shame.

Yesterday 10/23/17 at your Jamboree location I signed up for my membership again with the help of Kimberly. Iv'e held a membership with PBT on and off for years but Iv'e never had an associate who was more helpful, kind and professional as Kimberly. She explained to me the pricing and the different memberships and made me feel comfortable in choosing what was best for me. I really appreciated her level of professionalism, suggestions and help. The store was very clean and well kept and I am overall very pleased with re-joining again!

Great salon best I have ever been too fans in beds are awesome u do not sweat great prices if u get a membership for $14.95 + 20 the first time u pay that but figure it is $1.00 a day at one tan a day I do the silver bed went once and I am tan got that beach felling as if u layed out for 3 hours it is too hot outside to lY out staff are upmost professional Kaitlin signed me up and next month it is only $14.95 that is 0.50 cents a tan debited from checking acct every month buy the dark tanning cream it lasts forever

I asked for bed 9 and not bed 10 .... as bed 10 the bed doesn't close and the music doesn't work. Everyone knows this and they always play dumb, like its the first time someone has told them?? got named in room 9 and then .... NOTHING?? they had started the bed in 10?? so I had to get dressed and go to the front for them to start the correct room. unfortunately, i am thinking of cancelling even though the salon is so close to my home :-(

Nothing special stands out. Cleanliness is a little below average- floors are dirty and the towels provided are stained with makeup or pretty much falling apart.I've been tanning for about 15 years and I have never seen the rule that you have to wait 24 hours between sessions; once a day seems more reasonable. For example, if you are working all day and have to go at 6pm, but the next day you're only free time to go is 2pm, you're essentially wasting your own money because you aren't "allowed" to tan.

The staff is friendly at this location (tustin) and there is nothing inadequate with service or product. The only less than ideal aspect is the fact that this location is constantly busy and worse at peak hours (sometimes waiting 45mins-1hr+) Great for business! Bad for customer experience.

Let me start by saying the employee working on Thursday evening (6/29) was great! I attended the Orange location off of Tustin/Katella. She had to deal with my frustrations about a company policy and handled it wonderfully. She stayed calm and explained why the store has the policy and acknowledged my feelings as well. I can't praise her enough for being professional and helpful. As for the policy Palm Beach has, which is that a "cocktail" tanner has priority for spray, is frustrating for those of us who spray tan frequently and can be in the both and out by the time the person is out of their bed. The situation last night was that I checked in right after a "cocktail" tanner. The mystic booth opened prior to the cocktail tanner getting into her bed, but since she was there first I was going to have to wait for her to get in her bed, tan for 10 minutes, get out of the bed, have her go into mystic AND then I can go after?!? To me, it felt like that tanners experience and time was more valuable than mine as a customer, which I didn't feel was right. Also, that just seems like an incredibly inefficient way to utilize time. What if there was a long wait for mystic? We would all have to tack on an extra 15-20 minutes to the wait time while the tanner just begins their bed session? I don't know...I see why there is this policy due to the opening of pores, but I also feel that it would be great if somehow that policy could be altered to also fit the needs of other customers. Maybe if they are starting at essentially the same time "cocktail" tanner and spray tanner? That could work? I don't know, but this was the first time I experienced having to wait for someone to finish their WHOLE tanning session. Usually, it happens where I wait for them to finish their time because they've already been in the bed and head into the booth. I get that. Sorry for the rant about this issue. I hope there is some understanding of the frustrations on my end as a customer who spray tans often. I also understand that there isn't a simple solution to this issue and so I will have to deal with it, but I thought it might be helpful to get feedback about how it feels for the customer waiting.Thank you.

I always have a good experience coming in, the staff is always friendly. The only two things that I have mentioned before is it always seems like beds 8 and 15 always have bulbs out and I have mentioned it and the bulbs have stayed out for months before being replaced. I know what the upgrade options are and I would like to come in and just tan and not constantly being pushed to upgrade . Other then that the expert has always been pleasant

I paid specifically so I can use the standup "diamond" tanning bed and it has been broken for a week. The "coffin" beds cause burns. I even signed up my wife to the same membership only with the "diamond" standup breaking down within a week. This is the only bed we intended to use. When will it be fixed??

I'm a Mystic tanner and I just don't think one mystic sprayer per salon is enough. Wait times are 30 minutes +. That's a long time. Furthermore, most salons are very understaffed with one person checking in, cleaning beds, etc

Everyone super nice and friendly. Yesterday I was very disappointed with my upgrade package to gold. The bed was a let down to say the least. I found the facial tanners to be a bit harsh and frightening and the fan was a huge wind tunnel, I only purchased because there was an hr wait for my bed in my package I have. What do you consider to be a reficulous wait. Why can this bed be so crappy while other locations similar levels are just fine. Overall yesterday was less than a relaxing experience but just the opposite

The girls are always pushing product down your throat, even when you have told them a dozen times that you have a license and can buy at cost. The diamon level lay down mist has been out for months and at these prices I find it ridiculous to try every time to upsell me on a different bed that doesn't have all its features in working order. My first tan at the Tustin location, there were 3 beds out of order (which I understand happens) and there wasn't a towel in the room. Also, the buttons for the fan, face lamp, etc, need to be cleaned. There is like caked on makeup on it or something. I'm coming from a smaller tanning salon where they really took care of you. I'm hoping PBT can still offer that kind of attention with the convenience of multiple locations.

I have been tanning on a regular basis for 23 years. PBT is the only place that is not open early and your employees are very relentless about selling your products. I'm sure you will be happy to hear that because that's how you make money, I work at a hair salon, I get it. BUT I read people and can tell who is annoyed by the constant "dont you care about your skin" speech. It kind of sucks that you have bought out all the salons in the area because I would really consider moving my business and money,to another tanning salon.

It's great at Palm Beach Tan! However I would like to make a few suggestions to make the customer experience even better! Thanks in advance for letting us provide feedback! - fix music/radio: it hasn't worked in any of the rooms since I have started tanning there and staff says they have been trying to get it fixed.- provide tanning stickers: they are super cheap and it makes me excited to tan when I see the difference. I have had them offered for free at every other tanning salon I have tanned at over the years. - provide an airbrushing service- It costs more than machine spray tan but I'm willing to pay the price for a flawless airbrush that looks better than mystic in my opinion.

The service and pricing was great, but the bed looked gross. I know the girl had cleaned it and it felt clean, but the panel that connects the top and bottom of the bed was disgusting. It looks very unappealing and needs a scrubbing. I was in room 3.

Customer service has been great and the rep who signed me up as a member. However, the tanning beds are a bit older and outdated from the previous beds I've tried at other locations plus the prices are slightly higher as well. I'm still willing to try out the month and see how it all turns out. Thank you!!!

First time at PBT and Shylah at the Irvine Jamboree location is so sweet and knowledgable. I never felt pushed or pressured to upgrading my package. Service was amazing the place was clean and well maintained. Looking forward to my month of unlimited tanning!

I had been to this location before and walked out without making a purchase during past experiences. This visit was night and day. Krista was so outgoing, warm and customer oriented. And it was 30 minutes before closing when we walked in. Not only did she execute a flawless sales pitch to us and process our new memberships, she was able to greet, care for, upsell and clean up after a rush of existing members coming in post Superbowl by herself. Krista is smart, efficient, capable and has exemplary customer service. I cannot express enough how effectively she told the story of being a member. She is passionate about her work and your company. I do not know how your company is structured but you should consider having Krista promoted to a regional role overseeing and advancing your customer service practices and your team members training. She is dynamic and given the right opportunity could drastically improve your walk in customer and member experience. Big thank you to Krista! I would not have purchased a membership just like my first visit had Krista not been on duty.

Beds are VERY old and broken down - Fans are dirty and dust. Re-considering canceling my membership....$50 something a month is way to much for the low quality beds you have.Staff however is always super friendly...and I appreciate the fact that they are not trained to interrogate me everytime I come in trying to up sell on membership and lotion. That is why I left my previous Salon.
