I used to manage a PBT and I notice that the girls at the desk always seem unhappy to be there (except one girl name evan who always is excellent). Frowning, very pushy with their sales with other customers not in an adaptive way, and could just use a little bit of boosting in their customer service skills overall. The beds are never as clean as they should be in my opinion as theres always fingerprints on the beds. Just a heads up.

Front desk is always nice. Didn’t care for the coverage on the new mystic tan machine. My sides are still white and my knees have dark horizontal lines. My wrists also have lines on them. Did not get an even tan like the last model/machine. Now I am stuck exfoliated certain parts and trying to put on self tanning lotion so I don’t look funny for my event.

I LOVE THE STAFF!!! They are the reason that I am still a $60 dollar a month member even though for two months I couldnt use the the Mystic which is the only reason I joined. Each time I went to cancel my membership Michelle and Madison were so amazing I stayed. Please contact me and let me know what kind of credits you think are energetically right as compensation.

I went to the shop on Main street after work like every Friday and was told the spraying machine was not working again! It happens too frequently and Brentwood is too far for me to be driving in traffic from my area. I understand that the equipment needs repairs every now and then but what I don't understand is why the machines are down for so long. I was told that the repair men are too busy.Why is maintenance not scheduled on regular basis to prevent the breakdowns?Why don't you hire more repair men so the equipment could be fixed in a more timely manner?

I am happy with the service. However, I think, and others too, that the place should be open earlier on weekends. Most of us want to get a tan for the weekend and 10:00am is way to late

I think I was overcharged yesterday. It was $10 spray tan Monday, and I got the dark, which is usually $17 on Monday, and then she added the Island, and my total was like 30 or more. I was in a rush to get to the airport so I didn’t have time to think about it, but it seems like an overcharge

All in all I'm satisfied with PBT, though there is one thing that is inefficient at times. Basically, it can be frustrating when there are multiple people (including myself) who are waiting to just simply tan, but then have to wait a significant amount of time while a new customer is being informed, given a tour and finally signed up. I waited over 15 minutes just to use a bed that had no one in it, but had to wait the entire time a new customer was being set up - there's got to be a more efficient way to serve existing tanning customers while setting new ones up. To me, it seems that customers waiting to tan should be able to sign in and get in their room rather than wait for the customer on boarding process of a new customer.

I like to get the $10 spray tan on Mondays but the price always seems to change on me. First I got dark for $10, next time it was $17, then I got light for $10, then yesterday they tried to tell me light wasn’t an option it was “$10 just to walk in the door without color” or something that made no sense, they said I had to get dark for $17...until I kept talking it through and finally they were like Ok the base alone without color is $10. So I go the light for $10. It feels like I’m being upsold for ten minutes instead of just getting what I want

The day I signed up (yesterday). I purchased the advertised Unlimited Spray Tan package as advertised, thr spray tan machine ISNT working. Then today I tried again and the machine is still out of order. I’m leaving on a trip for NYE and can’t eveb use the package I purchased.

I think it's a very well maintained facility with kind and helpful staff. My one criticism is that the prices are a little high. If they were lower, you would get more monthly members. And the more monthly members you get, the more upgrades and lotions you can sell them. And I believe this would make up far more of the difference in money.

Very disappointed lately. 3 times I have gone to my preferred location in Venice, CA and mystic not working. I go out of my way and make time to go tan and then I can't. Other nearest location in Brentwood 1/2 hour away in traffic.

Let's start by saying it's not awful...just room for improvement. Really basic stuff...like when you go in a room there's no trashcan for single use lotion packets, no mat so you step on the cold floor, it's often freezing so getting naked and putting lotion on feels awful...but you guys are a monopoly in the area and the prices are decent. Would love if the staff said goodbye or thank you...and the bathroom in the Brentwood location is going to give someone a seizure with the light constantly flickering.

There is only 1 gold bed that works in the Venice location and the wait time and issues around it suck :( It should get fixed or replaced or clients should be offered a tan in one of the open beds at the same rate.On a separate note, the staff is awesome!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Palm Beach, especially the one on Wilshire and Bundy. The staff are all so friendly, sweet, helpful, and conscious of the customer's time. Every time I go, I think, "I just love that girl/guy!" Also, your facilities are always immaculately clean, and your prices are very fair. I appreciate that you always have promotions, and you have multiple locations so it's easily accessible from work or home.

This was actually at the Wilshire location in Brentwood. But, good service last night! Thanks blonde lady.Wanted to say that whoever came in and fixed the mystic Room #11 yesterday did a good job. That's how it should operate every time a customer uses it and I can't remember the last time I walked out feeling like I got my money's worth on my spray tan membership because the machines are always acting so wonky.... Last night I did. SO YAY! Make it happen more often pleeeease!!!! <3

Brentwood Salon is good, staff is amazing but the bed selection is lacking. I recently took advantage of an upgrade deal PBT was offering only to find out that they only have 1 platinum bed, out of 10 or so. Everytime I walk through the halls I see 90% of the beds not being used. If you were going to offer an upgrade deal, it would've been nice to be warned ahead of time that with the new increase in demand from the deal, plus the lack of increased availability, would lead to longer and longer wait times. I was much happier with the lower level beds I was using because while they lacked the power/efficiency of the better beds, there was always one available, less time wasted in the waiting area. I'll probably be downgrading soon, which is unfortunate considering it was a great deal. Disappointing.

I was a little disappointed when I went in to go switch my payment card that was on file. And the person who helped me, didn't tell me it had to be done before the 25th of the month. Even though I swear I did it before that. But nonetheless still was not told it wouldn't go through until the next month, since it was entered after the 25th... Really threw my finances off there for a minute. Other than that the staff is always helpful and they always greet me kindly!

The bed I used didn't Sean like the fans were working as well as the other gold bed I usually use and when I wiped the bed before using it with a towel I got some brown tanning residue from someone else but other than that I love this place

The parking situation is kind of a mess at Venice...I actually quit coming here and started going to the Wilshire location just because parking is so ridiculous in the garage. And when there is a line, the amount of time you get doesn't help with validation. Other than that service was really good at Venice...store was clean, girls were friendly and knowledgeable...If you sent me the Wilshire survey I'd say...get the second mystic booth fixed. It literally takes FOREVER for your customers to get a spray tan because it has been down since Christmas. This is a really busy location and it looks like it's stressing your girls out. And sometimes i'm not sure if the girls clean it correctly because it doesn't spray out until half way through the first pass.Lastly, please get a store in a Marina Del Rey shopping center. Would love to go to one there instead of these two locations. :)
