I only went to this place once with a friend because she needed a spray tan for a big event. The place is nice/clean inside which is a BIG PLUS! The ladies we meet at the front desk were very nice & informative about the packages they sell and how the spray tan booth works. Would definitely go back!!

I know selling lotions and skin care is a huge part of your job, as is mine. I get it. I am pitched a different lotion every single time I visit. The consistency is great, but it does get annoying when I buy a lotion and the very next visit you try to sell me another. I usually let the consultant know that I am still using the 3 lotions I’ve previously bought and I’ll let them know when I’m running low. It saves me time and their breath. Yesterday (6/4), I went into the Collierville location to reactivate. Brittany, store manager (according to her name tag), helped me. I had never seen her before, but I also hadn’t been in in 2 months and you guys move around more than I can keep up with. She was so nice to me and let me know of all the specials currently being offered. I had received an email offering 30 days free upgrade if I reactivate, so, after considering the other offers she let me know about, I decided to stick with the email offer. I am usually in a level 2, so 30 days of level 3 was all I needed. Everything was great, quick, and easy.Then, Brittany asked me if I needed any lotion. I politely showed her my bag of 3 different lotions I’ve been using and let her know I was set. Before I realized it, she was grabbing another bottle off the shelf and getting ready to pitch it to me. Again, I told her, “no, I don’t need any more lotion.” She stopped dead, rolled her eyes, and turned to put the lotion back on the shelf. Sensing her annoyance, I smiled and said, “I’m sorry, I just don’t have a lot of time and I really don’t need any lotion.” She didn’t acknowledge this, but went back to the computer to finish getting me set up, eyebrows raised and visibly annoyed with me. From then on, it was BARE minimum service I received. She didn’t smile during the rest of the transaction, didn’t make eye contact, and said as little as possible. “ $43.07” “Sign this.” (as she literally threw the receipt and pen onto the counter) “Enter your PIN” “4 or 5 minutes?” “Room 20.” It was only once I got to the room that I realized she had put me in a level 2, even after I had asked for the upgrade. Not having the time or care to go back, I went ahead and tanned for the 4 minutes she set it for (lol). Afterwards, as I was leaving, I asked another consultant about the upgrade. Brittany came back over and was back to her perky self as she helped the other girl (apparently training) add the upgrade to the account. Not sure why it wasn’t done before I tanned, but it wasn’t worth arguing over.So, moral of the story. I don’t know what the policies regarding sales is, whether it’s a commission thing or just a required number of units weekly/monthly. But the attitude I received from Brittany when I told her I didn’t need any, showed her the 3 I already had, and reiterated to her that I wasn’t going to buy any before she made her pitch was very unprofessional. I truly was not trying to be rude myself, and if I came across that way, I am sorry. I was not impressed with her reaction and how her level of customer service plummeted the moment she realized she wasn’t going to get a sale out of me. Again, I understand sales is a huge part of the job, but maybe don’t ask me to buy another hundred dollar lotion every single time I come in to tan. And when I tell you I’m all set, maybe accept that and move on with a smile on your face. Maybe let me come to you when I’m running low or out of lotion. When I’m ready to pay the god awful prices you charge for a lotion, I’ll let you know. But making me feel bad about NOT buying lotion is a quick way to make me NEVER buy a lotion from you. So, Brittany, sorry girl, but you won’t get a sale out of me going forward. I’ll give my sale to someone who doesn’t pressure me or make me feel lesser for saying no.Outside of this experience, I’ve always had great customer service. The ladies at Collierville have always been very knowledgeable about terms, products, and specials and have always answered my questions thoroughly. The beds seem to be much newer and nicer than the ones in Lakeland, which I live close to, so I always prefer to come to Collierville in my lunch break.

It’s okay. The services are extremely overpriced and the beds are pretty average. I think it would be a lot better if you didn’t charge so an arm & a leg for a tanning membership. It’s kind of ridiculous. I, along with many friends of mine, have canceled all memberships because of this. It’s insane.

haven't been able to tan since Feb due to a broke ankle and was finally able to tan yesterday apr 28. The tanning salon employee who helped me ....I don't remember her name...was FANTASTIC AND SUPER FRIENDLY. I had to remove a boot and knee brace but the employee who helped me said I had plenty of time to get that apparatus off and get situated to get in the bed. She was great!!! She needs to be commended for a job well done.

Beds are always super clean, staff is very friendly and they are able to answer any questions I may have. I love the variety of lotions available, the price seems a little high but I trust the employees when they explain why I need a lotion and I love my Australian Gold Sol!

I initially joined PBT at the Collierville, TN location; however, I have subsequently moved to Cordova, TN. Further, I work close to downtown, and I'm about a mile from PBT's Union Avenue location. Accordingly, I visit the Cordova and Unuion Avenue locations most frequently.I love your staff! Across the board. Regardless of location; they are courteous, welcoming, knowledge of products, and try to sell additional products or services without being pushy.I wish you'd do a better job of keeping the beds in "full service". It's disappointing to get into a Level 4 bed when the misting doesn't work -- which is often! Or to have other "Error messages" displayed on the screens. Honestly, of the last 8 times I've been to tan, only once was the bed not displaying some type of "Please Correct" message. The locations I visit seem busy. I'm not sure how the revenue stream is impacting your ability to keep the beds maintained. I'm not sure if this is a problem in the manufacturing side of the business, or a maintenance cost issue with PBT, but it is an issue that P T needs to solve.Thanks for asking.

Place is nice and Clean,The Manager was the one that help me out, I felt little rushed true membership sing up.Next day I went in for my second tan section and the Assistant Manager was very rude when a asked a question regarding the membership.I normally don’t do servey, But I did feel uncomfortable.Not asking anything for free.Just want you to know that the first time I’m using You guy’s paying $60 dollars a month is not something that everyone can do so expect little more customer service from the Manager team.Seems the regular employees are more friendly.Thank you.

I was a bit disappointed when I was only allowed to tan 7 minutes, I understand you are trying to protect yourselves but people have common sense know what they can/can’t do. I understand there are people out there who think their stupidity has to fall on everyone and rules / laws have to be made to keep stupid people in tow. I understand I tan at my own risk and for me 7 minutes wasn’t even with my gas to get to the salon...other than that ??

My daughter and I came in yesterday and my daughter signed up and got a spray tan. We were both unfamiliar with spray tans so the assistant manager explained everything and answered all our questions. She was very patient and helpful even though they had gotten quite busy while we were there. We really appreciated her and all the employees were so nice. The spray tan was great!!!

Place has gone down hill since I lasted visited in 2015. New rules which are BS especially the one about how they get to tell me how long I can visit. I KNOW my body & skin type better than someone I just met. Not right or fair that I spend my hard earned money only to be told sorry, you can only tan for 5 minutes. But that's where Palm Beach gets you. You want to tan but you have to follow their rules and only AFTER they take your money do they say oh by the way. Not happy at all.

Collierville, TN location never seems to be very busy but they always have to clean a bed when I let them know what I want to do. Seems like instead of standing around talking they could be cleaning beds while no one was at the counter.

The entire staff at the Collierville, TN location on New Byhalia Rd. are not only friendly and extremely helpful, but they are professional, personable, very knowledgeable about the product lines and are more than willing to work with you to find the perfect match for your skin type and tone, so that you can successfully achieve your desired tanning goals. I am someone who works and travels a lot and I'm not able to come in everyday and often it can be a challenge to come in even 3 to 4 times in a week due to my schedule. I started out building my base tan and then inquired because of my schedule how to keep the tan glowing look that I love. Natalie and the entire team at Collierville were on board to work out a tanning game plan that would work for me and my needs. The girls have also followed up after each time I tried something new from new bed to new lotions. I have worked in customer service for countless years and was even a manager for a tanning salon myself. I know the importance of the job that they have and that at times it's not always easy to meet every single need of a customer, however they always rise to the occasion and go over and beyond for each and every person that walks into the salon to make them feel important and that they are happy to see them. They defiantly set the bar for the other locations. I have been to other location one in Lakeland, TN and one in Austin, TX neither of which would I EVER refer someone to due to the poor and lack there of customer service that was displayed in both locations. I literally before moving to Collierville would drive to the Collierville location from my at the time residence in Lakeland ( the Lakeland location was in walking distance from me at the time) just because the service I received was deplorable and the girls there we not helpful nor were they friendly, they made you feel as if you were being a bother if you ask questions or they simply responded with " I don't know or I'm not sure" when enquiring about what is in the lotions? Really? Texas was rude and not at all helpful the girl who put me in the bed made me stand and wait since I am a TN client she said she would have to change my profile so that I could tan there and also when I ask about a lotion and if my discount would apply she quickly replied " NO" we don't honor other stores discounts. Correct me if I'm wrong but you guys are a corporate organization and all of your computers are synced and set up for the convience of the clientele to be able to tan and untalize all of your countless locations? So if I can tan wherever and your packages are all the same standard for the most part across the board then does my discount that is a corporate set standard really not apply unless I'm in TN? If not than you might consider looking into that one because you guys are losing money if she misinformed me ,also taking into consideration if she told me that so I didn't purchase anything how much money has walked out the door at the expense of your company because the person or persons behind the counter refuse to provide great customer service to any and all clients? Non the less I am over the moon with my Collierville girls and I feel they deserve a HUGE acknowledgement for their efforts and the pride that they display and take in there job and the service they provide to their clientele. I would be the best advocate to all of your centers if I walked into each any everyone and received the level of customer service I receive in Collierville but sadly that isn't the case. I hope you guys can work on that and get more consistency across the board through out your company. Maybe have the Collierville girls train the other one lol. Thank you I know this is long but I feel it is important for the growth and lively hood not to mention word of mouth for your business to avoid client retention and promote client relations for you guys. It was great! I was a Tan-n-Go member. The manager on duty at the Collierville location was MORE than helpful. She made me wish I'd been tanning at this location instead of tan-n-go. I work with customers all day too, so I definitely have an appreciation for great customer service.

OK... first you need to hire some more help. Jessica did a great job even though we were standing in line for a while.Second... I have mentioned this before.The Collierville Tn. Tanning salon needs another tanning bed that sprays water and you only need to tan for 10 minutes. Don't know what you call it but... I have to wait on it quite often because your customers that can use it want it. I'm sure it's expensive to get one but your customers would like to have another one so we won't have to wait. That's it for me.??

I signed up this week, but no one informed me of the specials. In fact, until I received the email today I had no idea that I could've received a $5 sign up fee, instead of $20 and/0r $1 tans. I'm not sure why this was not shared with me, but it seems questionable to me as a customer that it wasn't. Had I known, I would have mentioned it, but since I was unaware I feel the employee should have.

Very impressed after the first 2 visits. Appreciate the much higher quality of level 2 bed, bigger room, refresh area in back, and friendly helpful staff. The limit on no return within 23 hours (soon to be 24 hours) since you have shorter hours on the weekends.

I've been tanning for a little over a month and haven't been since last year. I have tanned in the level 3 and 4 and expected to have a little burn after I tanned 15 min. I felt it may be too long since I had just started but was trying to get some color since the first 4 sessions didn't serve much afterwards. I pay almost $100 a month and have considered cancelling and going elsewhere.

I took my account off of hold last night. The young man was very nice. When I got in the level 3 room to tan, there was no chair. I am used to all your rooms having chairs, makes it a lot easier to change. I was disappointed.

The salon in Collierville Tn. Needs another tanning bed that has the water spray in it. I am a diamond member and don't like having to wait to get that particular bed. I complained about this last year to no avail. Please consider another bed with the water spray. Otherwise, your employees are the best.
