I went in on 05/09/2020 to purchase a tanning package. I did not get her name (She did tell me but I forgot), but the young lady that greeted me and walked me through everything was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable on the types of beds and walked me through everything. I was amazed at how well she knew every feature of the beds. She is a true asset to this business!

I'd like to say that EVERY SINGLE ASSOCIATE is super polite, attentive, and very helpful. All experiences have been great so far! The only thing that was disappointing was finding out how much of a markup we were charged for tanning lotion. I was told we were getting a deal and it was normally $XX, and so we paid $60+ for the lotion only to find out that it's $30 everywhere online. I will not buy products from PBT again.

Service is always great here but the store is often out of important things. For example, I just got an email about the organic spray tan and when I went on Tuesday they were already out. Also, they were out of the clear glasses to wear in the spray booth. I was frustrated with this location last year for the same reason.

Experience was fine. The change in the mystic tan spray solution at the Union location was not communicated to customers that I know of. My package usually covers light & medium. Now I’m told only the light is covered in my package & I have to pay additional for medium.

Jessie H is beyond one of the most helpful consultants I’ve seen. She isn’t pushy when it comes to selling products as most employees at PBT seem to be towards me when I visit.

I signed up at the PBT on Union Ave. In Memphis and I really have enjoyed using this facility. The girls are nice and helpful and the place is clean with little to no wait time usually. But I live near Florence Al and I am working in Memphis, so when I went back home I used the PBT on fox creek parkway in florence Al. It was completely different, the girl working the desk was not helpful and I had to make an additional purchase of eye protection, which is provided in Memphis. I was not pleased at all by this and when I leave Memphis I will cancel my membership due to the fact I do not like the one in florence.

I do not like paying for a package for unlimited visits and being required to tan at the lowest minutes possible, even though I have a base tan and would consider myself a 3-4 skin type per the skin scale on the website. I understand the policy to recommend time limits but I have tanned multiple locations and never been required to tan under 10 minutes. I have never had a bad experience before at Palm Beach and have never been required to only tan a set amount of time until this visit. I just wish this messaging/policy was not a requirement since I am paying for the package.

Over all I've had great experiences the only thing that bothers me is when the versa is down they try to convince me to use the mystic. The mystic only has one nozzle and doesn't cover me as well as the versa.

The manager at the Union Ave. store is truly an asset to your organization. He was extremely knowledgeable of the products and pricing and made the entire signup process easy.I have one complaint - and this is directed to corporate management (and not the store manager)... I had been a customer of both Midtown Tans and Tan N Go (the previous companies at the midtown location) for about 20 years, and after hearing about Palm Beach Tans taking over, decided to give your company a try. I wish I hadn't been charged the $25.00 startup fee to come back as a customer I had already been for over 20 years at one point. The staff at the Palm Beach Tan on Union Ave. in Memphis is phenomenal and I've received nothing less than some of the best customer service I've experienced in Memphis from the ladies that work there. The reason for the 4 stars is the facility: there is nowhere to sit and wait and at any given point 2 of the 3 level 4 beds in the store are not working. One of the beds has not worked since February and another of the beds seems to work in fits and starts. The experience in the store has been great and I'm considering a permanent account upgrade to level 4 beds, but I never know when the beds will actually be working so I'm not sure if it's worth the money. Again, the staff is just wonderful, the beds and store do seem to some attention.
