I have been tanning at the Richmond location for about 3 weeks or so. Everyone is always extremely nice, knowledgeable and professional. Today Bryanna Welch was at the counter. I was behind another customer who was getting signed up. The process takes time and the customer was very impatient. Bryanna even explained prior to proceeding that this is a lengthy process and she hoped she can be patient with her as she goes through the steps. The customer was very unpleasant and irritated. She was rude to Bryanna, however, Bryanna handled the situation very professionally. She was very kind and tried to be upbeat and make the customer more at ease. I was very impressed with her. Great job!

Great uptown tanning salon. Very nice staff. Easy to get appointments, etc. The monthly packages are very reasonable. They have other services as well in addition to UV tanning. Well maintained.

Your go-to tanning salon. Clean, helpful personnel, fast service. Relatively cheap for what you get. Glad they were able to transition over from the Darque Tan chain so seamlessly.

I came into the store on Richmond Street (in Greenway Plaza). The place is very clean and the store representative was great at explaining all the packages.

The ladies were super helpful and efficient and helped me with everything, and made recommendations for bed level since I haven't been in a really long time, they also didnt comment on how pasty white my face is which is love because I know its white which is why I'm at the tanning bed and I hate it when people look at me after coming back after a while and say "oh my gosh it HAS been a while since you've tanned hasn't it, judging by the color of your face I think a level two for 5 minutes?" Which just makes me think like whyyy was that necessary? They didn't try to push any lotion onto me or anything which was refreshing being that'd its been so long I was nervous about getting bombarded with all kinds of things I supposedly "need", but they were very professional and approachable and made me feel comfortable being back.

The switch from Darque Tan to Palm Beach Tan has been significant and obvious. While the staff is very nice, sweet and helpful...their knowledge of the equipment and products is highly lacking. Most disappointing is the new equipment that came with the company switch. The Mystics, while they claim to be the "newer" version, are about a decade behind in the spray tanning sector, and there isn't one customer at PB that was a former DT customer that won't agree they miss the Norvell. The Mystic is a significant downgrade and makes it hard to justify keeping my membership. I know that the VersaSpa Pro are available at some of the PB salons, so I hope my location receives one. However, I see from the rates that I will be charged extra (from my monthly membership price I'm paying now) to use that one if we happen to even get it in the salon. Overall, very disappointed in the switch and I'll wait another month or so to see changes before I look into other salon options.
