I was accepted as an Ambassador! How do I manage my membership transition?

Ambassadors enjoy Diamond access to all of Palm Beach Tan’s sunbed and spray tan equipment free of charge as long as they actively participate in assignments. Diamond access is automatically activated upon your acceptance into the program. However, in order for your existing account to stop being charged, you must freeze or cancel it in person at your local PBT salon. Accounts are charged at the first of every month, and all changes must be made before the 25th of the previous month. It is up to you to freeze or cancel your account once you become an Ambassador.

Should I freeze or cancel my membership? What is the difference?

We always recommend that our Premier Members freeze their membership when they are not actively using it and utilize our Stay and Save program. This program locks in your membership rate, you retain your Premier Rewards status and you get $7.50 in Tan Dollars credited to your account every month you are frozen — a tanning savings account! Just ask any of our associates in store, and they can go over the benefits of your Premier membership.

What are assignments, and what’s my role in promoting them?

PBT may ask you to post about specific services or products (for example: Premier Sunless skin care) for a period of time (at least one assignment per month). We’ll provide an assignment schedule and the exclusivity period for social content prior to the assignment launch. Ambassadors will refrain from working with or mentioning any PBT competitors for a set period of time.

Which social channels should be used and posted to during assignments?

It may vary. PBT will set expectations per campaign regarding social media promotions on certain social channels.

How long will I have free Diamond access with PBT?

All Ambassadors’ free Diamond access will begin on the day you receive your confirmation email and will continue until you leave the program willingly or your participation is terminated due to lack of participation in assignments or failure to comply with other terms and conditions.

What guidelines do I have to follow throughout the program?

Both PBT and Ambassadors must accept the Ambassador Program Terms and Conditions in the Ambassador Program Agreement.

Can I be terminated from the program?

Yes. The status of PBT Ambassador is reviewed on a monthly basis. Those who have not been active on a campaign will be removed from the program and will no longer have a free Diamond access membership.

What if I don’t want to be a PBT Ambassador anymore?

What happens to my membership when I am no longer an Ambassador?

If you leave the program, your free Diamond access will end, and you can unfreeze your membership at a PBT salon. Your Premier Rewards membership will then be effective immediately.

Will a preview of my content be required prior to me posting them?

PBT will not set preview expectations, deadlines or schedules to review/approve social posts. Ambassador is responsible for ensuring that all social content adheres to campaign guidelines and complies with Ambassador Program Terms & Conditions.

Who retains creative control of the content I post?

Ambassadors will retain creative control over social content.

Will offer and promotion details be provided?

PBT will provide all offer and promotion details for the Ambassador to incorporate in each social post.
